Project | 04 "The power of self-directed journals: Being a temporary ‘other’ for learning to teach"

This project analyzes an experienced L2 teacher's self reflective writing/narratives and traces his professional development from a sociocultural perspective by employing grounded analytic methodology.

Project | 05 "Multilingual unique voice construction in writing." 
 
My research interests also include multilingual writer unique and creative construction of voice in written communication. In the project that I worked with Dr. Canagarajah, I analyzed a Japanese graduate student's voice construction/negotiation in her literacy autobiography from my cultural "insider" perspective.

Projects | 06 "Functions of laughter and third-party participant helps in ELF academic discourse" 

My latest research projects include the analysis of ELF academic ELF discourse, highlighting the functions of laughter and third-party participant helps.
